Hi all
I am selling my least favourite Pink Floyd album, Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. This is a UK 1st Mono Pressing correct in every way. It plays very well indeed and is very clean. The record is graded VG+, there is a visible light scratch, not affecting play and not audible that I can detect except maybe in the lead-out of the record for a moment or just the occasional tiny pop, this traverses the disc on one side and appears to be a needle mark, then there are just a few faint marks on the surface only and a few minor wispy hairlines from sleeve-removal and handling. The sound is clear and dynamic with just some light occasional noise to be heard. The sound is in fact excellent for much of this record and this is a gleaming copy to look at!
The sleeve is excellent, no 'File Under Popular' and in fact the best 1st pressing sleeve I have seen with a little bit of ageing and no notable wear anywhere at all. Overall VG+/EX, this is a great copy!! I am only selling this to buy the DAC of my dreams, I don't like PATGOD at all! for which I apologise to fans out there.. I am more of a WYWH man! I will get more pleasure out of the DAC even though compared to this record it is a crap investment! But there you go. I have photographed the scratch and the other most visible other mark which is of superficial level only, anything else is just very minor.. This is of collectable quality.
The yellow picture by the way is from the Pink Floyd Archives and is to verify this version. These are skyrocketing in price and I have seen these for more money in worse condition! So this will be a good investment record!
This will be sent in a Music Max double walled record box with additional stiffener in a poly-sleeve and with the record shipped outside of the main sleeve and will arrive safely!
