PINK FLOYD THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN 1st PRESS STEREO COPY WITH BLUE BLOCK LETTERING ON THE COLUMBIA RECORD LABEL. CATALOG NUMBER-SCX 6157 RELEASED IN THE UK IN 1967 MOTHER STAMPERS SIDE 1-1/R SIDE 2- 1/R
This is an original copy in V/G condition..The vinyl playing surfaces are very clean leaving the disc with a high gloss sheen. There are a few surface marks on each side but the disc..Side 1 play's superbly with a little surface noise at times and Side 2 play's through with a clear audio..There is no skips, nor stalls throughout. The disc has a small pressing fault with what looks like a very small dip in the playing surfaces on side 2. This does not cause the stylus arm to dip in movement but i have to mention this superficial defect.. There is no warp damage in evidence.
The labels are clean and the label silver text is fully legible. The 1967 KT tax code is embossed in the centre of Side 1
The front picture laminated cover is V/G with a little superficial creasing and just general wear on the corner edges. The cover is intact and remains strong and sturdy. The rear panel has some age darkening and very faint initials. The cover spine is intact with undamaged wording.
