THE PINK FLOYD - THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN (UK COLUMBIA, SX 6157, 1967)

One of the best albums ever made, in my opinion. Just sheer genius. It actually is quite painful for me to get rid of this, but I am running out of space again so, unfortunately, this has to go. This is a BEAUTIFUL example of a first pressing in MONO, yes, that's right, mono!!! Very tough to find, as I'm sure you are all aware. Completely different mix, sounds great too. I have never seen a finer example than this. Most copies are in terrible condition, but this is one to be proud of, even the sleeve looks lovely! This also comes in the very first LAMINATED E.J. DAY FLIPBACK SLEEVE with the GREY BACKGROUND ON THE REAR SLEEVE, as opposed to the white background, which later pressings have. Very unique and very lovely. There honestly isn't much else I can add to this. Just make sure you give it a good home! (MATRIX NUMBERS : XAX 3419-2, XAX 3420-1, KT TAX CODE)

Vinyl is VG+ : a few light marks on side 1 which do not affect play - overall this plays like a dream, some very light surface noise in some parts, but absolutely NO jumps at all. Quite a few spindle marks on the label too, just so you know. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Laminated flipback sleeve is VG+ : overall looks lovely, some light creases here and there in the laminate, but this isn't even too noticeable, the back looks absolutely stunning (see pic)
