Description

An original Autumn 1969 1 Box copy of Dawn. Matrix 1/1. Note perimeter text states 'Gramophone' and there is only 1 Box present. Stampers are from the 1st mother...1-GR/1-GR. So, whilst 18 months after 1st release your copy is actually much  closer to the 1st copies than you might at first imagine. Comes housed in a flipback cover with 'File under popular section' text. The vinyl comes housed in an original inner too. 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super shape and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation per side.. Very delicate audio you're gonna need a clean decent copy to stand half a chance of revealing this fantastic audio to full effect. The audio is just superb - clean feed. All I could detect was a few crackles in one isolated spot per side - the 1st few seconds of Matilda and the closing couple of seconds. Minimal issue really. Clean feeder into those super lowkey builds.. Tracks like Overdrive are very fussy - you need the best possible pressing you can get your hands on. Overall - superb.
Cover (Vg+) Super looking front...love it! Pretty white rear but there is a slight hint of ageing in places. Spine is 90% intact with all text fully legible and a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) NO splits.
