Rare Pink Floyd promotional standee for the album Meddle. Original vintage promo circa 1971.

This unique cardboard standee was sent out to record retailers across Canada in November 1971 and was created to promote the new Pink Floyd LP on Harvest in Canada. The standee was probably manufactured using color slicks made by Modern Graphics in Ontario. These were usually placed on the counter or in the front windows of record shops or placed on a wall inside the stores. Condition is good for a 53 years old piece. The original owner or record store actually stapled it to the wall at one time as there are a few staple holes/marks.  Some staining and as mentioned some staple holes. The front visuals are still colorful and enjoyable. Please see pictures. It's a rare vintage piece and was authenticated by Canadian record historian Piers A. Hemmingsen back in 2013.
