Description
A 1st pressing of Relics on the UK Starline label. Matrix A1/B2. Stampers 2-HP/2-TO. Perimeter text reads "Gramophone Ltd", not "Emi" - which are reissues. The record comes housed in a textured original sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original Starline/Talisman/Regal EMI advertising inner. 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (NM) Almost looks unplayed. The labels show no signs of use and the vinyl surface is shiny like new. Under close inspection I can't make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEARMINT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are absolutely silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity - not much more to say other than that this is a pretty much perfect copy. You will never better this copy - period.
Cover (Ex+) This white cover is very difficult to find in pristine condition. But this copy is tremendously well preserved and is still the purest white in colour. Almost no signs of fading and no creases or tears. The spine is 100% intact. The only imperfections are a tiny sticker removal mark on the rear [top-right] and a tiny abrasion on the front to the bottom left edge. But these are pretty insignificant - in reality this is a really excellent example.
Inner (VG+) Some light ageing but no splits.
