Description
EMI EMD 1055, gatefold sleeve with insert inner sleeve.
I've had it in my collection for yonks and it immediately got lost in the multitude of other shelved vinyl here there and everywhere and I've only just rediscovered it. As I'm (gradually) selling off the hoard this particular item is now up for grabs.
So, the outer sleeve is clean, tight and sharp with the only nod to its' age being a tad of wear at the spine ends. I rate it 9/10 for condition.
The inner insert sleeve is in great shape and is made of a light card as opposed to paper; note the inner walls are smooth as the disc resides inside.
For the clean and shiny vinyl itself, maybe a few spindle marks around the label hole to denote one or two spins at most. And as mentioned above, the vinyl has been living in the inner sleeve for the past 24 years and so shows faint scuffs and hairlines under an unforgiving light; this is solely age and storage related and not a mishandling issue. I've now put the record in a light poly liner for its' ongoing comfort and protection inside the inner sleeve home. And after all that I rate the vinyl 8.5 / 10 for condition.
