THE WALL a 1st Issue on the UK Harvest label from 1979. Matrix A2/B2/A3/B3 TML-X/TML-M[Master lathe used]. The records come housed in the original gatefold cover. Please note there is no mention of the four band members in purple in the space directly above the picture of the child behind bars - this is indicative of 1st issues. All later copies have the four band members names in purple. Also included are both original inner sleeves with the notch at the top and rounded corners. So, this example is 100% complete and 100% original....And it plays like a dream.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Shiny like new with one careful owner and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can't make out a single mark across all four sides. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. We only detected some ultra-light static in a couple of the tracks on side 3. It really is important to insist on a quiet copy of THE WALL - any interference just gets in the way of the low-key audio. Best to stick to copies that have seen minimal use - like this one. I sold a copy that was neigh on perfect a couple of days ago and this one really isn't that far behind it. Original copies of THE WALL really were mastered and pressed to perfection.. it's absolutely top-draw....
Cover (Ex+) Remains in fantastic condition. Almost perfectly white and exhibiting only one or two light smudges - that really is unusual. The interior is immaculate without defect. The spine is intact and has not seen much wear at all. The openings are sharp suggesting once again this LP has not seen much use. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. A really fantastic specimen. I can't imagine anything beating it...
Inners (Ex-) Are in excellent unmarked condition. Slightest of ageing and a small seam split on both inners. Please note the LP's will be housed in Exstatic inner sleeves.
Sticker (Ex) Great condition, just one tiny crease.
