Offered for sale is an original U.S. half speed mastered pressing of The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs.
Note: This is the 1979 first issue of the LP with the non-slanted text "Original Master Recording" at the top of the front cover. The later pressings with the slanted text are far more common than the earlier issue.
About this copy: This copy of The Dark Side of the Moon is a 1979 U.S. pressing on the Mobile Fidelity label of an album that was originally released in 1973. While technically a U.S. release, the disc was pressed in Japan by JVC using their proprietary "Supervinyl" compound.
The cover is M- with trace corner wear. There are no splits. The posterboard stiffener and two inserts are M-.
The disc is M- with a couple of foxing spots on the labels, but no spindle marks and no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A beautiful copy of a Pink Floyd LP that is often found with major cover wear. I'm the original owner and purchased it new in 1979.
