AFTER A BREAK OF SEVERAL MONTHS FOR HEALTH-RELATED REASONS, I’M BACK TO CONTINUE TO BRING YOU MORE BEATLES AND ROCK & ROLL VINYL AND MEMORABILIA!

In this auction is a PROMOTIONAL RECORD from PINK FLOYD, one of Rock & Roll’s Super-Groups!

As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were ONLY released by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for on-air play or to VIPs in the music industry. They were produced in very small/limited quantities, and they were NOT available to the general public to purchase; therefore, for these reasons, they are valued more by vinyl collectors. Many promotional records are particularly hard-to-find these days and have become highly sought after by vinyl collectors and especially the fans of certain recording artists/bands.

In this auction:

• “THE FINAL CUT” LP by Pink Floyd

• This is a PROMOTIONAL LP that was issued to promote Pink Floyd’s “THE FINAL CUT” LP

• It is Columbia Records AS 1636.

• It is a STEREO PRESSING that was issued in 1983.

• It has a GATE-FOLD COVER.

• On the cover is a STICKER that reads that this PROMO LP is a “Special Banded Version for Radio”.

• The complete printing on FRONT COVER STICKER reads:

• “DEMONSTRATION – NOT FOR SALE” is printed at the top right corner of the rear cover.

• The GATE-FOLD COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. There is VERY LIGHT OVERALL WEAR which includes: very light wear on 3 corners, very small pushes on 2 corners, just a few very small and very light surface creases near the spine and very light signs of handling along the opening. There is NO ring wear, NO tears, NO writing, NO seam splits and NO flaking

• The VINYL is VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. Only several VERY LIGHT SURFACE hairlines/scuffs (none of them at all “feel-able”) kept me from grading the vinyl Near Mint.

• “DEMONSTRATION – NOT FOR SALE” is printed on both labels.

• The following are also included with this Promo LP:

  1. One-sided Pink Floyd The Final Cut INSERT on black glossy paper with white print that measures 8” x 10”. (It has a couple of very small and light creases at the top left corner.)

  2. ORIGINAL BLACK PAPER INNER SLEEVE that has 3” to 4” splits on 2 edges.

  This PINK FLOYD PROMOTIONAL LP can be a VERY NICE ADDITION to your vinyl collection.

FYI: I used Goldmine Grading Standards (P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G+ for Good Plus, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
