Pink Floyd – The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn vinyl SX 6157 PRESSING MONO.
This copy has File under POPULAR: Pop Groups on the top corner of the back sleeve. First pressings do not have this credit. This is a rare UK mono second pressing in really superb condition. The album was purchased for my birthday on 16 August, 1967, having been released on 5 August, hence pressed in 1967.

There is a surface mark on Side A that has no impact on the audio quality. As an early pressing the rear sleeve is grey and, on track A5 the title is correctly spelled on Pow R. Toc H on the label with no period after the letter H, different to the rear cover with H.
The disc condition is classed as VG+ as, although played on quality equipment, there is some surface noise that is more evident being a mono recording. There are no evident clicks or pops, just expected surface wear on both sides.
The sleeve condition is EX for a 56 year old cover. There are no visible marks or scratches and the spine is intact with The Pink Floyd fully legible. There is some personal writing on the back cover and original, inner sleeve. All edges have been well preserved.
Comes complete with the original inner sleeve advertising other albums such as The Beatles Revolver. The album is stored in a new, scratch proof inner sleeve. This is a rare, early mono recording of this classic album.
All albums are shipped correctly and safely by separating the disc from the outer sleeve. If purchasing from outside the UK, please be aware of any associated import costs etc.
