STOP-PRESS-STOP-PRESS-STOP-PRESS!!!!!!!!

!!!Sensational Audio!!!INSANELY SCARCE in mono!!!

Psych/Progressive delight! NO FILE UNDER POPULAR!!!!!!!

Without a shadow of a doubt the Holy Grail of Floyd albums!!! I have had a few copies of this album in mono over the last ten years. I have not even seen any in the last 5 years!!!  It is getting extremely hard to find any quality early psych or prog at all!!!

The audio is breathtakingly sublime!!!!  TOP musicianship, no wonder this is now so collectible. This album in this rarely ever comes up for sale. As such it is a  mighty good investment!!! Most of these are now safely tucked away in major collections around the world, this is a very rare opportunity to acquire this scarce glorious album.

The front laminated  sleeve has the flipbacks to the back. This album is now nearly impossible to find in any shape or condition and even trashed examples go for MEGA MONEY like e.g. the Led Zeppelin turquoise sleeve as well.

I am glad to tell you tht this is indeed a very respectable copy. Two names printed onto the top left back , see pictures. Some front underlaminate creases as can be seen in the pics. The spine is great and fully legible.

Two miniscule corner "bumps".

This beautiful glossy slab of vinyl is pure quality!!!!! The vinyl looks beautiful and I played it all the way through, it sounds STUNNING !!!! Delightful musicianship and amazing songcraft of course. If you like this album you could do worse than look out for Group 1850 from the Netherlands which I have coming up next week!!! Some retraction scuffing and a couple of very wispy light hairlines.  IMPOSSIBLE to find like this!!! Re-issues do just not measure up to the depth of the sound. The mono version is quite different than the stereo one and this is now very sought after!!!  This is just awesome!!! NO jumps, NO pops and NO skips. One stick in the dying seconds of side 2 and THAT'S IT!!! NO background crackle!!!! These very early first presses never fail to surprise me in a very positive way. High groove walls make for a perfect musical ride!!!  This album is playgraded on a Linn Sondek/ Rotel/ B&W set-up. The audio is simply MINDBLOWING!!!! It would be a very tough task to still upgrade from this copy. It has to be the very best one available!!!!

Mono copies are rare as hen's teeth and no more than 2000 were rumoured to have been pressed !!!!!

This is a great investment object!!!

Labels are EX. This has the "K T" tax code. A name printed nearly invibly in the black field above Columbia in biro can only be made out if you angle it.  Only a couple of hardly visible spindle lines.
