Description
Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn - UK First issue - Blue/Black Columbia Label - Mono - Catalog Number: SX6157
This is a true original (NO - File under POPULAR : Pop Groups) of Pink Floyds debut LP.
Vinyl : This LP has been much loved and therefore had a lot of play judging by the amount of spindle wear around both sides of the central hole. The vinyl itself displays much in the way of surface marks (especially side B) and I would grade this as GOOD by The Record Collectors definition and as a keen collector myself consider my gradings harsh. However on play, this record exceeds it's appearance, with only minimal background noise, apart from a tiny section very near the start of the second side, where the needle skips a tiny section (lasting 3 seconds approx).
Cover : The condition of the cover itself is very tidy, with a good strong spine and not a lot regarding creasing or general wear. Unfortunately someone has used the back panel to practice their spelling and therefore would also grade the cover harshly as GOOD, however if it wasn't for this I would very easily grade this as VG. I hope my pictures will speak for themselves.
