Description
The Wall 1st issue from 1979 on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A2U/B2U-A1U/B2U - 2nd Pressing. This double Lp comes housed in the original gatefold cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. The cover does not carry the full band member credits inside like the later copies do. Also included are the original rounded corner inners with notches at the top. This is a tremendously well preserved example....and includes that front cover sticker!
Cover (Ex+) Very difficult to find the original copies in really pristine condition, but this one looks great. Nice and shiny only exhibiting some light ageing in a couple of places. There's almost no markings to be found on any of the surfaces which is a bonus. The spine is totally intact and overall the cover still retains perfect rigidity.
Vinyl (Ex+) Shiny like new and has seen very minimal use. Under close inspection I can barely make out a single mark across all four sides! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. I really can't recommend the audio on offer here enough. Any interference with PF records is often very obvious, but here playback is astonishingly clear with very little interference. Yes, there are one or two ultra light static crackles in the occasional place, but they really are barely even audible. This is one hell of a copy...
Inners (Ex+) Beautifully preserved no splits at all.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
