Description
For sale is Pink Floyd's The Wall, released in 1979 by Columbia Records in a double album set with a gate-fold presentation. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "TML S" followed by the matrix numbers 1-J/1-AD (Disc 1) and 1-H/1-AC (Disc 2), signifying that an early stamper was used to make this pressing. This is a hallmark of superb sound quality. I bought this used and immediately cleaned both records professionally on my VPI machine. I then put these albums into MFSL archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. The inner sleeves are Near Mint. The cover is Excellent with only oxidation along the spine, producing a slight darkening. The vinyl is Excellent with light surface scratches that do not affect playback. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Please take a look at my other Rock albums, as well all records of all genres in my Ebay store. They're almost all Near Mint. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
