It is a rock opera which studies Pink, a jaded rock star, as he slowly emotionally builds a psychological "wall" of social isolation. The Wall topped the US charts for 15 weeks and this album was originally released in November, 1979, and with this, is an audiophile's dream. Completely remastered on 180gram vinyl in 2018 by Sony. (meaning it is even better than it was the first time, by say, oh, 3-5x better? The sound is sweeter, richer, the bass is deeper and broader and the entire album reaches out to you in a way that the first one never could, grabbing your ears and pulling you into the story further and further!)
