Description

From My Collection...

Let's try this again...

About 25 or 30 years ago, I bought a box of high fidelity LPs from a person

I played them once, to make sure they were in good shape

and put them away

Well, I have pulled them out...this auction is for a

When you look at the vinyl under light, it is shiny and there are NO - none - scratches.

The label in the middle shows no sign of wear.

Both disc have slight warpage out by the edge - and I do mean slight.  One is not even worth mentioning and the other is barely worth it.  It, by no means, affects sound.

I played most of the album and the only issue is some of what I call "clicks".  It is not a "pop".  "Pops" are annoying.  It is the low volume "click" that is unique to vinyl.  Most people, doing things around the house while listening, wouldn't even notice it.  If you are wearing headphones, or listening for flaws like I was (or expect digital silence out of analog technology) you are going to hear it in some of the quiet parts of songs such as "in the flesh".    It is not continuous.  It is intermitent, every few seconds at the most.

SO...I am going to stay with a Mint - / Near Mint rating on this item.

There is a ding on the top right corner of the album cover

and there is a slight indentation on the top back of the cover

where the outside edge of the LP has left its mark

You have to hold it right to see it, but it is there.

The original inserts with the lyrics of the songs

and the Columbia sheet describing their new masrtering proceess are included (great shape).

It is in the original clear plastic sleeve from the factory, but its a little dingy.

Also, as a policy I don't accept returns.  As one seller put it, I don't deal with buyers remorse.

I am, however, a reasonable person...when dealing with reasonable people.

I am a collector selling to collectors and I try to make a point of knowing what you are getting

and being picky in describing it, so YOU know what you are getting.

For that reason, I figure the deal is done when you bid.

But, If you ever have an issue - talk to me about it.

Honest mistakes happen.
