The following is a brief list of the criteria necessary for any pressing of this issue to be considered a first pressing promotional copy.
- Original clear title sticker affixed to front cover *THIS ISSUE*
- Printed Inside gatefold cover: Scarfe images, credits, (and most importantly) Band member's names NOT listed *THIS ISSUE*
- Back Cover: On the upper left corner is a gold promo stamp that says "FOR PROMOTION ONLY Ownership Reserved By CBS. Sale is Unlawful" *THIS ISSUE*
- Matrix Numbers:
PAL 36184-1F / PBL-36184-1E / PAL-36185-1F / PBL-36185-1AE (all four written) [0] [TML-X / TML-S / TML-S / TML-M] (no timing strip on front cover) *THIS ISSUE*
- Labels: Columbia Wall labels with "Demonstration Not For Sale" printed on labels. *Also issued with standard non-promo Wall labels *THIS ISSUE*

Now that I got that out of the way let me continue with...
Being offered to you is a beautiful, Promotional, First Pressing of Pink Floyd’s double LP masterpiece- The Wall -
This Promo pressing is indeed from December of 1979 and not to be confused with the commonly found, gold stamped, standard later promo issues that became easily attainable.
The early stampers used for this pressing, pictured above, hold much more importance being from the days of standard weight pressings and over used stampers.
A TRUE FIRST PRESSING from those days means something as I’m sure you know. Condition wise this one is in excellent overall shape. Both records are in beautiful condition. Very few light marks that are mostly “sleeve” rubs. Nothing to detract from the sound. They play great. Labels are clean and bright.
The cover shows light to no shelf wear at all with a tight spine. Only the very lightest of ring-wear can be found for maybe 2 bricks on this clean and bright, glossy cover. Really fantastic condition for a cover known to wear easily.
Both inner sleeves have no seam splits at all. Hard to find a better Promotional copy out there. I’m happy to say I am the original owner of this one and it has been very well cared for all these years. Thanks for allowing me to describe the heck out of this one.
