Title: The Wall (Double Album)
Label: CBS
Cat: SCBS 2462
Year: 1979 First Press
Vinyl Condition: NM
Sleeve Condition: VG+
Label Condition: NM
Notes/Description: South African first pressing without any movie reference on the front cover and quite a rare variant as the song "Another Brick In The Wall (Part II)" became a protest song against the Apartheid regime. The song and album were subsequently banned in South Africa in 1980, but was re-released after the film's release with a different front cover. The vinyl is glossy, unmarked and sounds fantastic. The sleeve is close to NM but has a small patch of heavy rub on the top seam of the back part of the gatefold. It has the original two paper lyric inner sleeves with small splits at the bottom edge. Matrix:
AL 36184-11, BL 36184-9, BL 36184-9, BL 36185-11
