Description
This Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording), half-speed mastered from original master recording then pressed on original master stamper by JVC in Japan, is the pinnacle of vinyl audio technology. Pressed on 200g virgin vinyl, with numbered and signed certificate from MoFi President Herbert Belkin. Ultra-rare, highly collectible. I bought it from the original owner, an avid audiophile who switched to digital and was selling off his entire vinyl collection (I know, go figure!) I have owned it for the last 6 years. I have played it 3 times on special occasions and am finally enjoying it for the last time, playing it all the way through to check the sound quality. It does have a few ticks on a couple of songs, but not many. But the sound, the sound! Through my beautiful SOTA turntable, Class "A" tube amp, and TANNOY speakers, it is simply breathtaking, opening with a thunderous depth and fullness that puts any other recording to shame, hands down this is the best DSOTM recording money can buy, even better than the regular MOFI version. If you have heard the regular MOFI version, which is a reference-quality recording, your jaw will hit the floor when you hear this. Unbelievable. I wish I didn't need the money. This UHQR is one of those all-time bucket list albums that I hate to sell!
The outside of the box has some shelf wear but the contents are all accounted for and in very nice shape. Please examine all photographs closely, I describe accurately that this is NOT a new record, if you want a new one you may have to wait years and will pay nearly two grand for the privilege! See other listings "used" selling for $999.00 on the rare occasion they actually come up for sale! Like they say, you don't play the box! I gladly paid a good deal of money for this without disappointment, enjoyed and treasured it, and pass it on in the condition I bought it. Please check my perfect feedback and bid with confidence.
