Description

An original 2nd issue of Ummagumma on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/3/2/3. Please note on the labels there's still mention of 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text - this is indicative of 2nd issue. Also note that these copies are very nice solid pressings unlike copies from just a couple of years later. The vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day cover. Also included are both original inner sleeves. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In beautiful condition and have only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks- nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Yes, that's right...across four sides and this title is very fussy audio wise lot's of low-key sections where interference might exhibit. But intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is pretty much totally absent. I'll do my usual catch-all...you may detect a couple of isolated crackles in a couple of spots per side. But, in reality, this is about a well preserved copy that you're likely to find. very hard to find playing this sweet..consistently.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Very nice clean front and back without heavy wear or creasing - perhaps just a couple of tiny nicks. The interior looks good too just some light handling. Edge wear is light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Ex-) No splits. Just lightest ageing.
