V. A. / The Original Sound Track Album of “Antonioni’s Zabriskie Point”

Japan Orig. LP

MGM MM 2014

Appendices: "Original OBI” & “Different G/F Cover"

( INSERT is not enclosed )

Description: This is rare Japanese original copy ( released in 1970 ) of original sound track for the same titled film. This album features Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Kaleidoscope, Patti Page & More ( See following track list ). The gate-fold cover shows “Japanese description” inside, different from any other countries’ copy. Though the insert is not enclosed, it’s not sure if it was originally issued for this item. It’s hard to find this item with obi even in my country nowadays.

Side A: Heart beat pig meat ( Pink Floyd ), Brother Mary ( Kaleidoscope ), Excerpt for dark star ( Grateful Dead ), Crumbling land ( Pink Floyd ), Tennessee waltz ( Patti Page ), Sugar babe ( Youngbloods )

Side B: Love scene ( Jerry Garcia ), I wish I was a single girl again ( Roscoe Holcomb ), Mickey's tune ( Kaleidoscope ), Dance of death ( John Fahey ), Come in number 51 your time is up ( Pink Floyd )

Condition: EX/NM ( Cover / Disc )

COVER: Cover is excellent in condition, except for partly worn corners, spine-edge & slightly outer-edges. Slight spots are in left top hand inside gate-fold. It’s clean on the front & back. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There’re a few spindle-marks with brown spots on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, I guarantee you.

OBI: VG, being stained with brown spots in upper portion of back. A supply-tag in the bottom of back is stripped off ( missing ).

INSERT: Insert is not enclosed in this item. But it’s not sure if it was originally issued for this album.
