Description
I purchased this in the secondary market advertised as near mint from the original owner and following my own evaluation I agree with this. Following a light cleaning there are a number of small surface marks which I believe are factory issues however there are no visible scratches or defects with the vinyl and following a test play through the Grados the sound was on par with the visual inspection; some light surface noise particularly in the really quiet sections however there were no pops or clicks or anything else that took away from a critical listen through headphones. This having been said numerically I score the vinyl a 92 which I feel is within the lower end of the near mint section (like an A-). The cover remains in the original blue shrink with the hype sticker intact. There is a split within the shrink that was taped within the bottom front right corner and rear. I didn't really pull too hard on the shrink however from what I could see of the cover there is light corner wear and a couple of small bumps on the right side (about 3 and 3.5” up accordingly). Insert and post card also remain essentially in factory condition. This having been said numerically I score the cover a 96. The album will be shipped in between cardboard within a Whiplash record mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
