Up for bid is my OPEN copy of Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here". This is a "Audiophile Pressing" by CBS. CBS produced a few of their more popular albums using this process. Its explained in detail in the liner note, but they used a few technologies like half-speed playback and digital processing to produce these albums. They sounded quite good. Better than the mainstream version by a long shot. These pressings were also packaged better than the mainstream version. Heaver cardboard and rice paper inserts. The jacket is condition is perfect. There are no signs of wear, no splits, no bends, nothing. Other than being out of a wrapper, you would think it to be new. This copy did come "Sealed", it came in a plastic bag that is open at the back with a flap and sticker over the seam. I double wrapped this in two plastic sleeves to protect the round sticker on the front.  This is a super sample of how records could be made by the record companies. This is a must have for any serious collector. Some people claim that these pressings sounded as good as MFSL. I can not dispute that claim, not having both versions, I could not tell. Besides, MFSL did not release this copy. Too bad, it would have been as sought after as DSOTM.
