Description

An original 1st press of WYWH on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A1/B3 - the very 1st cut. Stampers 1GTD/2RGT. Please note the labels exhibit the split credit for part 5 - which was revised on later pressings. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover which is still covered by the original black shrinkwrap & sticker. Please note the shrinkwrap is hugging the cover - i.e. the cover has never been removed and it is in exactly the same position as it was when it was purchased. Also please note the entire LP is not sealed. The original inner sleeve is present, but the postcard is absent. So, almost complete, but not quite!
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with just one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The only thing stopping it getting the top grade is a touch of very low-level static occasionally in a couple of the quietest spots. For example the intro to Side 1 - just a bit of low-level static before the track gets going [remember this is very very common with the 1st press]. By and large this copy plays very clean and represents a very impressive rendition of this Floyd classic. Nice!
Cover (Ex+) I've checked inside the shrinkwrap and there's no discolouration at all and no markings. So, for all intents and purposes this is the closest you'll ever get to a new cover. I'll leave it to the buyer to decide what to do and whether or not to remove the shrinkwrap - that's their dilemma! Just to reiterate there are no signs of external damage and nothing visible when I peek inside either. The openings are still sharp and there's absolutely no signs of ageing or discolouration. The cover appears to be very nice and rigid with square corners. The shrinkwrap covers 95% of the cover and has only split one inch [bottom right of pic] - otherwise intact.
