Description

An original 1st press of WYWH on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A1/B3 - this is the very 1st possible cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with pinched spine. Also included is the inner sleeve [three shaped corner version] and the serrated edge promo postcard.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This is really is a terrific rendition and the best I've heard in quite a while. Floyd needs a super clean pressing to really do it justice - otherwise you will just be left disappointed. Thankfully this copy is preserved to a very high level. Interference is totally absent. We really struggled to make out more than a couple of crackles the whole way through. Super clean with a silent background. The rendition is faultless. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) In nice condition and these WYWH covers are difficult to find perfectly clean due to the lack of lamination. This example fares much better than most that surface. Still nice and white and doesn't appear to be affected by the usual ageing process. There are one or two light handling marks, but nothing unsightly. Ditto the rear - very nice. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is all still legible with light ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. A lovely specimen.
Inner (Ex) Great shape. Just a couple of creases. No splits.
Postcard (Ex+) No issues at all. Nice!
