Description
Hello,
I am a serious audiophile that has much too many records and am now beginning the process of selling the majority of my collection. My collection includes Rock, Jazz, Folk and Classical music, but I now lack the space to maintain such a huge library of albums. So my loss is your gain!
I have bought and sold stereo, records and photographic equipment over many years on Ebay and have a perfect 100% feedback rating so you can purchase with confidence.
I have been starting with sealed records and will go from there.
Well it's the moment of truth and Happy Holidays for a lucky bidder! Unbelievable…This is your chance to get an extremely mega rare original UK copy of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here, complete with jet black shrink wrap and the many small breath holes around the front (see the attached picture). The shrink wrap also has the round “Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here” sticker affixed to the front. #SHVL814.
If you are reading this you know what this record is worth and what the occasional copies that have surfaced in this condition in recent years have sold for!
Because this is a sealed copy and has never been opened it should have a postcard inside along with an inner sleeve. Being sealed is what makes this copy so ultra rare. It is therefore not possible for me to open the sealed shrink wrap for an inspection! Note, however that: (1) when originally issued in 1975, the album was also released in the US and Japan with dark blue shrink wrap and no breath holes; and (2) recently there was a new reissue of the album which does not have the breath holes, and is according to research, not as jet black as the original.
Sealed with the inner white cardboard just peaking through the shrink wrap on 3 corners (see pictures) from years of storage.
For the reasons stated above, there are no returns on this item. It is sold "as is" and cannot be guaranteed against defects of any kind or for any other matter once opened. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.
Shipping is by USPS Media Mail at $4.00 per individual record.
I will use a cardboard box specially designed for LPs, however I am not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping. Again, if you have any questions please ask before bidding.
Please take a look at my other auctions and good luck!
