Description
This is a picture disc which I picked up in Sapporo, Japan in May 2014. It is a very limited edition disc. Number 39 of just 100 according to the sticker on the front. The first 8 photos above are the ones I have taken of this disc. The final 4 photos are of the only other copy I have found reference to on the internet. The photos show someone's personal PF picture disc collection, and you can clearly see this same disc in those photographs. If the lack of further reference is a guide then I would agree that this seems very limited and rare. It runs for 54 minutes across both sides. Side A has Floyd at the BBC studios in 1971 performing 'One of these days' and this is followed by Atlanta 1987 during the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour, with Run Like Hell, On The Turning Away & Dogs Of War. Side B is from Philadelphia on September 19th 1987 on the same tour, with Signs of Life, Learning To Fly, Yet Another Movie, A New Machine & Terminal Frost. The disc comes in a clear plastic sleeve, just as I received it. The vinyl itself appears on visual inspection under strong overhead lighting to be in at least VG+ condition or better. There is the clear visual first impression of a scratch near the bottom of side A, but upon close checking I feel this is not so much a scratch, more in the irregularity of the artwork. I am unable to feel the scratch in any way, thus I feel it is not a scratch at all. You may be able to see it in the photos extending leftwards from the mouth at the bottom of the disc. If anyone has any questions at all, please do not hesitate. I will be glad to try and answer them.
