UK 1967 blue/black Columbia MONO SX6157
Matrix Numbers : Side 1 XAX 3419 - 2 Stamper 1 G Side 2 XAX 3420 - 1 Stamper 1 G
This really is a rare, sought after 1st MONO pressing with "Sold in U.K." on the labels but no "File Under Pop" at the top right hand side of the flipback sleeve
Both sleeve and vinyl are in very good condition and the quality of the audio is good.
The Ernest J. Day outer sleeve is in very good condition,there is no writing or graffitti on either the front or reverse sleeves - the front laminate is completely intact, although it shows signs of ageing by way of minimal creasing("ringwear") - no splits. The spine is rigid and suffers only minimal (and very slight) age discolouration. The reverse flipback is very good - a few marks and minimal wear to the edge - again nothing to detract from good+ condition (I refer to some very minor age discolouration towards the middle of the sleeve. Each of the flipbacks are good+ and bear no splits or cracks - still in tact with no sellotape in evidence
Both sides of the LP have retained most of their original sheen though there are some surface scratches and marks evident on both sides (see below please)

The labels on each side are good with the "K" and "T" tax codes clearly in evidence on side 1. There are a number of light spindle marks around the centre holes - but no writing.
I have owned this record in excess of 30 years and obtained it from a keeper who pruchased it from new - back in 1967.Of the scratches and marks I have mentioned the worse aspect is a small scar on side two at the commencement of Interstellar Overdive ***on my record player this does not cause a jump*** .The other scrtaches and marks give only minimal background presence and unless you pay distinct attention the sound goes by in good appreciable quality.I have graded this record as good to good plus -n this is my opinion and not a formal quotation as one would expect from a dealer.This Lp is in very,very presentable condition and I have looked after ir in the many years of private ownership.The inner sleeve is the original - it has a small split at the bottom where the paper has thinned - hardly noticeable. ***I have this item advertised elsewhere and interest is promising so I retain the right to remove from auction at any time)
