Original UK pressing on the SOLID BLUE triangle label with two posters (both are very near MINT without pinholes,edge or corner wear..) and two ORIGINAL stickers (the two stickers representing 'Day and Night' are the original 'Fasprint' crackback with brown diagonal lines) ..The glue used on all the early stickers was permanent and this is clearly printed on the back of each sticker. Later the glue was changed to removable after complaints from the education sector who got fed up finding the stickers permanently attached to every available surface.  ….Original DARK BLUE cover,NOT the later black one,also has the original 1st press 'die-cut' poly lined black 'silver text' inner sleeve.…

A supposedly NM copy just sold for over 1000.00 (!!!) ....

cover:  original un-laminated  Garrod and Lofthouse GF  cover  , superb  clean EX/EX+ condition with some light rubbing,light beginning of RW on the back only ….. This sleeve also has the one sided opening which is factory folded and sealed (some later pressings did come with one side opening but did not have the edge folded and sealed, just glued shut)... SMALL amount of corner wear on bottom R..  ...all four corners are nice,clean  and square...NO rips,NO splits,NO writings  or any other damages....nice and square spine ,no  damages at all…opening edges are straight and sharp,NO signs of use at all…..backside is nice and and clean …

record,visual:   superb clean,shiny and jet black EX+/EX++  with  light and totally inaudible surface lines caused by the inner sleeve.. NO sratches or ANY OTHER kind of  deep marks at all..….it still retains it’s beautiful original black sheen and it looks  VERY NEAR NEW !!!

record,audio:   THE AUDIO IS   GREAT WITH  CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH  GREAT DELIVERY AND  STEREO IMAGE… NO SKIPS,NO STICKING,NO DISTORTION,…THERE’S SOME VERY LIGHT STATIC AT THE BEGINNING OF „SPEAK TO ME” BUT THIS MIGHT JUST BE SOME DUST BUILD-UP IN THE GROOVES-A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB WOULD MOST LIKELY GET RID OF THIS…OTHER THAN THIS THERE ARE NO LOUD POPS, CLICKS OR ANY OTHER INTRUSIVE BACKGROUND NOISE OF ANY KIND AT ALL …

labels:   AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE  with light spindle hole marks …SHVL 804 A2 and  SHVL 804 B2    matrix numbers,very early pressing… small initials on side A,no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT..I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE RECORD  FROM START TO END ( WHO DOES ? ) - HOWEVER,I  TESTPLAY SKIPPING THROUGH  TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!
