Description
The Pink Floyd
"Stairstep To Abandon"
"Ze Anonym Plattenspieler"
This very rare and very limited edition (less than 20,000 pressings worldwide), first pressing bootleg was released sometime around 1974 on ZAP Records # 7874. The blank pale yellow labels (except for the words Side 1 and Side 2) are clean, the glossy vinyl is Vg to maybe Vg+, it's got some intermittant surface noise at the open ramp on both sides. The slab features alternate versions/outtakes from the celebrated Pink Floyd albums "meddle" and "Dark Side Of The Moon" one of the most influential albums of all time. Side one contains a rare gem, it features the 24 minute alternate version of the under water epic "Echoes", side two contains a twenty minute alternate medley from "Dark Side" featuring: "Breathe, On The Run, Time & The Great Gig In The Sky. Every tune on this album is different to the versions you know & love. The final tune on side 2 is The Great Gig In The Sky by the late Richard Wright who recently passed away on Monday Sept.15th 2008, it also features completely different vocalizing by Clare Torry. The cover is plain jane white. The brown & yellow title/photo sheet is in near mint condition. Please, check out the photos & thanks for looking!
