Description

Up for Auction is the Legendary The Wall Album from Pink Floyd. The Wall is the 11th studio album from Pink Floyd and it is considered a masterpiece. Rolling Stone has ranked The Wall number 87 out of the top 500 albums of all time. This double album is a treasure and listening to it on vinyl is the best way to appreciate it. This particular album is the 1st U.S. pressing on Columbia Records from 1979. The vinyl grades conservatively at Excellent for the first LP and Very Good Plus for the second LP. Side One has PAL -36184-1D P etched in the deadwax. Side two has PBL -36184-1BG C etched on the deadwax. Side three has PAL -36185-1BC C etched on the deadwax. Side four has PBL -36185-1E B etched on the deadwax. All four sides of the deadwax also contain the stamp TML. The TML signifies that the album was mastered at the Mastering Lab in Hollywood. The first LP conservatively grades at EX and the playback is EX or better. The first LP has a few hairline scratches on each side that do not affect the playback. The second LP grades conservatively at VG+ and the playback is VG+ or better. The second LP has some hairline scratches and light paper scuffs that have a minimal affect on the playback. The blemishes are mostly cosmetic and the playback is VG+ or better. The LP labels are in great shape with only very faint spindle marks on each side. This album will also include the original custom inner sleeves with lyrics. The inner sleeves are in great shape. The LP Gatefold Cover grades conservatively at Excellent. The seams and spine all contain some very minor wear. The spine is still crisp and completely legible. None of seams have any splits. The inside of the gatefold is in great shape with some minor foxing. The LP's have been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and then placed in brand new white inner sleeves. The gatefold cover will arrive housed in a new poly sleeve. The winning bidder will pay shipping. I have specified media mail shipping at a price of $5.00, and I will not ship outside of the United States. The LP's will be packaged outside of the gatefold album. Both the LP's and the gatefold cover will be packaged between two cardboard inserts in an LP mailer. Please let me know if you have any questions. Bid with confidence!
