Pixies Doolittle Bundle Original Vinyl LP , 2 x used concert tickets 1989 2009, RARE Plastic Carrier Bag. ————- Pixies Doolittle album from 1989 propelled this amazing band into global super stardom. Original in so many ways, every track has become a classic. This LP was purchased shortly after release. The LP still plays well and shows minimal wear. Both the outer and inner sleeves are in very good condition, with some wear on the sleeve edge (see photos). ———— Also included in this bundle is a very rare plastic Pixies carrier bag, received with the album in 1989. Produced for the UK market by record company 4AD, the carrier bag not only shows the album artwork, but also has a long list of independent UK record shops, where the album was available. The bag itself has been used and then folded up and put away, so the handles shows signs of wear and the bag shows some creases. However all images are still clear making it a very rare piece indeed, 35 years after being issued. The album and carrier bag are wonderful items for both Pixies collectors and 4AD specialists. ———- Finally a pair of Pixies used concert gig tickets, from the Doolittle tours of 1989 & 2009 in Liverpool & Glasgow. The first ticket is from the gig at Liverpool Royal Court on 3rd May 1989, just weeks after the release of iconic album Doolittle. This ticket is made from poor quality paper and given its age is in remarkable condition with some small creases and a horizontal crease through the middle. However these are barely visible. Please do note a small hole in the top right corner where it appears a drawing pin has been used to store ticket on a notice board. The second ticket is a more sturdy "modern' type for the Glasgow SECC gig on 4th October 2009, a tour where the Doolittle album was played in its entirety to celebrate twenty years since release. This ticket is crease free though edges have had counterfoils removed. ———- This is a rare chance for Pixies collectors to own an original Doolittle LP, two tickets from Doolittle gigs 20 years apart and a very unusual Doolittle carrier bag to store the LP. A remarkable band, a truly remarkable album, a unique bundle! ———- Please see pictures for condition of all items.
