This record was bought from Virgin Megastore in Leeds in about 1997 – 1998. I remember buying this record as it was one of the first records I ever bought. I remember purchasing the record as I had to take the first one back as it had a scratch in and had it replaced with this version.
Whilst in my possession, although played it has not been over played and I would probably say it has been on the turntable no more than 30 times. I have the digital versions and have used them more and play my records only once every so often when I can be bothered to set up the record player. I have a project debut for playing records with a Stanton Stylus so it has been looked after.
The records themselves are in excellent condition and have no detrimental scratches or dents. The records have been played and through this process there are lots of little small marks that could perhaps be cleaned out through a record cleaning process and are not heard through the playing of the record. I have only noticed these when I looked at it under the really bright lights of the kitchen and from eye sight they look in perfect condition and I have given them a slight clean.
The sleeves are in very good condition and have no marks on. The inside cover is in excellent condition. On some of the extremities of the sleeve the edge has gone slightly white with wear and tear as it has gone on the shelf etc. The inside picture sleeve and record sleeve is in perfect condition.
