Near Mint
Record: Almost as good as new, only the slightest signs of use if any.
Sleeve: Looks almost new, may have very minor marks on the edges of the sleeve or corners.
Excellent
Record: Great sound quality, only very light marks that do not effect the sound or play ability.
Sleeve: Has some age related marks, creases or scuffs to the edges and corners, minor general signs of use and age.
Very Good
Record: Slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience, possibly a little background crackle. May have a slight warps that does not affect the sound, Minor signs of handling.
Sleeve: Will show signs of handling and age, damage to the edges of the sleeve, possible minor damage to other parts of the sleeve and visible ring wear.
Good
Record: visually and audible used, shows obvious signs of use, light visible scratches, may have light clicks and pops. But still very much a listenable and enjoyable record.
Sleeve: significant signs of age and use, scuffs marks, light damage, possible seem splitting.
Fair
Record: The record plays through without skipping, but it has significant marks and scratches that create noise whilst listening to the record. The label may be worn or damaged.
Sleeve: Quite a lot of damage
Poor
Record: Large or deep scratches and marks that cause skipping and create a bad listening experience.
Sleeve: Very bad condition.
