Plastikman EX

description details   After more than ten years, Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin) releases a new album on Mute! The album was recorded live at New York's Guggenheim Museum. He performed there - in the light of a specially designed LED obelisk - at the invitation of Belgian fashion designer and Dior Art Director Raf Simons as part of the annual Guggenheim fundraising. Between 1993 and 2003, Plastikman created an amazing oeuvre that still sounds unique to this day. Across six albums (Sheet One, Music, Recycled Plastic, Consumed, Artifacts (BC) and Closer) he has achieved nothing less than a radical expansion of (Detroit) techno and a reinvention of electronic dance music. And even in 2014 it still sounds "fast forward" and absolutely timeless!

The 2LP comes in a die-cut gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve and download codes.

about us

Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as cool again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record shop and then of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online is available in our Übersee store, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Right on the A8 autobahn, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl.
We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for everything to do with vinyl...
