Here in one fell swoop is a huge chunk of Richie Hawtin's discography recording as Plastikman.  Richie Hawtin has pushed the boundaries of techno ever since he started recording and DJing; these releases make that extremely clear.  From his earliest releases to the most recent album, his singular and powerful vision of what acid, techno, and minimal soundscapes can become is very apparent.  Richie Hawtin truly has no equal...  The version of the 'Musik' LP being auctioned here is a one of only 2,000 early and limited releases that are extremely rare and highly sought after because it includes the single-sided and etched extra record (see picture).  The 'Consumed' LP is the triple pack vinyl, not the more common double pack with the same catalog number.  Release and track information is as follows:

Please note the following.  The 'Sickness/Panikattack' 12" sleeve information and vinyl etching indicates it's the PLUS8058 release but the sleeve and record art are for the NovaMute release.  There is no NovaMute label indication on the sleeve so I think the copy is the Plus8 original; perhaps a rare misprint?  The 'Closer' LP contains the transparent art insert.  All records are in very good to near mint condition except as noted below.  The 'Closer' LP and 'Disconnect' records have been played exactly once given I also got the CDs.  The 'Sheet One' and 'Musik' sleeves are just a bit wrinkled at the edges and the round vinyl imprint can be slightly seen.  Otherwise, all sleeves are in almost perfect condition (I do take care of my records).

PLEASE NOTE:  Though the third limited and etched record is what makes this release exceedingly rare, I do have to let you know that the track "Goo" on the 'Musik' LP has two separate grooves that can skip.  Heavy counterweighting on my turntable takes care of this... but this is a caveat you must understand as a buyer. This album was given to me in used condition by a friend who knew how much I loved Richie Hawtin.  The rest of the album plays fine and barely even pops (which is great for how old it is) but that one track might skip on your turntable and needle set up.

The skip is one measure long and might be avoided with a heavy Ortofon needle (which I don't have but I've seen those needles smoothly go through grooves other needles would skip on).
