Description
Please Please Me Black and Gold Large Mono with MZT Tax code lovely labels with no spindle marks. This is the earliest 1st pressing which listed Dick James on tracks where their newly formed Northern Songs should have appeared. XEX 421 -1N and XEX 422-1N Mothers 1A + 1GR The vinyl is excellent with only one main scratch going through first 4 tracks side 1 + scratch side 2 going through last four tracks ( Not affecting Audio ) A couple of half centimetre marks in addition to above present not affecting sound quality Initials JF In black on side 2 label ( Hardly noticeable on the black part of label ) The Record plays with no skipping or jumping but odd background on run in or quieter tracks. Original Inner Bag with no splits the girl has written on bag May 20th 1963 ( Birthday Present Off Mom ) Her Mother must have bought the Record a good month before her Birthday as these Black + Gold first pressings were March / April 63 In addition the Girl has written a Quote from Paul McCartney on the other side of bag " Girls should never be.........always be natural " Angus McBean credit is far right as It should be on early sleeves The front of Album cover is very good with minor wear and tear + flaking to laminate on edges The back is good with no writing but two portions of fold over missing one 1.5 Inches to top + 4.5 Inches to bottom Also a split 5 Inches long to opening top side which has old cellotape stain ( As re Photo ) Nice honest copy with all original parts this has been unearthed via a house clearance. These early first Dick James pressings are obviously sought after + this is one where the Vinyl is cleaner than the sleeve. No Reserve Posting Immediate Will Post Worldwide at Postage cost
