Description

Please Please Me UK Stereo Album 3rd Pressing This is the first yellow and black pressing (after the initial gold and black) of Please Please Me, the Beatles first album in the UK, in stereo.
The 3rd pressing is sort of a transitional pressing of which only a small amount were made spanning the gap until the much more common 4th pressing. This is even more true of the stereo version.  You can tell it is a 3rd pressing because there is no "Recording First Published" or "Sold in the UK" on the labels.
The condition of sleeve is VG with some minor cracking on the seams.  The spine is very good.  The back show some taping of the lower flipbacks other wise is in good shape. The labels show some spindle wear and spindle marks but are otherwise in good shape. The vinyl shows some hairlines and minor scratching but these shiney thick early vinyls produced by Parlophone look amazingly good. I would rate the vinyl as VG. It plays fairly well, as most of these do, with some minor crackling. It comes with an appropriate Emitex inner sleeve in VG condition with a minor tear of the upper left seam.
The mothers and stampers are Side one 1 GD, Side two 1 P.   In general this a very good example of a very rare 3rd pressing of Please Please Me, the UK first Beatles album in Stereo.
