Poison Idea The Fatal Erection Years - 1983-1986 gatefold LP re-issue Volume 2 of TKO’s Poison Idea “Kings Of Punk” reissues series, collecting the "Pick Your King" EP, "Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes" 12” EP compilation tracks and previously unreleased material dating from 1983-1986. Truly, this is material that should require no introduction to fans of American Hardcore Punk. Deluxe TKO reissue treatment with gatefold jacket with OBI-style strip, liner notes and tons of photos, flyers, artwork etc from the band's history. Remastered at Enormous Door Studio for maximum ferocity.
200 pressed on "two tone" red/white halves vinyl (this), available from TKO Records only.
Supplied with overlay spine strip replicating 2" of front cover art and spine text with track listing on back.
Tracks A1-A13 recorded at Recording Ass. in Portland, OR, on January 20, 1983. Originally released on the Pick Your King 7" EP on Fatal Erection Records in 1983.
Tracks A14-A19 recorded off the soundboard live at The Met in Portland, OR, in Spring 1983. Previously unreleased.
Tracks B1-B8 recorded at Falcon Studios in Portland, OR, on August 14 & 18, 1984. Originally released on the Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes 12" EP on Fatal Erection Records in 1984.
Track B9 recorded at Falcon Studios in Portland, OR, on April 23, 1985. Originally released on the Drinking Is Great 7" EP compilation on Fatal Erection Records in 1985.
Tracks B10-B11 from the Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes sessions. Originally released on the Cleanse the Bacteria LP compilation on Pusmort Records in 1986.
Track B12 from the Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes sessions. Originally released on the mail-order-only version of the Cleanse the Bacteria LP compilation (w/ bonus 12") on Pusmort Records in 1986.
