Poison. Open Up and Say...Ahh!. Capitol Records(C1 48493). 1988. Vinyl Album.
This 1988 Repress has a censored front cover. The initial album cover featured a model, Bambi, with a long, bright red tongue, resembling a demon. Parental groups and some retailers objected to the image, claiming it was too suggestive and potentially "demonic," As a result, the album was re-released with a censored version where only the model's eyes are visible, framed by a black border. The censorship controversy ironically boosted the album's popularity and helped solidify Poison's place in the glam metal scene.
