Description
Rare Porcupine Tree Fear Of A Blank Planet 'Pink Pop' 2 LP edition on hot pink vinyl! Limited to 500 Copies.
If you are a fan of progressive rock band Porcupine Tree and also of music on vinyl then you will be familiar with the pressing and production quality of Tonefloat Records from Holland. The quality of these pressings is just superb. Beautiful 180gram pressings with exceptional covers and inner sleeves.
This is the special pressing to celebrate Porcupine Tree's appearance at the Pink Pop Festival in Holland during the FOBP tour. It was limited to 500 copies. This is my personal copy and it is unplayed except for one side. The only reason this side was played is because there is a slight impurity or something in the pink vinyl on one side mostly in the dead wax. Can report that as expected it has no audio consequence at all. This is just something that happens occasionally with coloured vinyls. Think you can just see it in one of the photos.
This is the single, slight and only blemish on this copy which would be mint except for being unshrinkwrapped (sticker kept of course), and one side played one time to check. It is a 2 LP set and has like the other issues the Nil Recurring EP extras.
Reason for selling - collector guilt. Already have the limited marbled vinyl, the black vinyl, the CD. Much as I would like to keep it...
Low start price for this rare record set.
Note to buyers - the postage I have specified is a rough guide due to ebay listing requirements. Will work with successful bidder for the best postage, insurance if wanted, etc. This is a potentially valuable record and it is also quite heavy - 2 X 180gram vinyls and heavy duty sleeve and inners. I will pack well in a good quality record mailer with the vinyls outside the inner sleeves to prevent 'knifing' in transit. Good luck!
