Description

Though the 12" Portishead single "Chase the Tear" won't officially be released on vinyl until November 14, XL Recordings had 200 signed copies at the Independent Label Market at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn. The sleeve was signed by Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley in gold ink. A woman from XL Recordings took this out of a box, put it into a protective plastic sleeve and that's where it's been - except for when I took the photograph.

I actually bought two of these and sold the other a few weeks ago. I found it curious that Adrian Utley signed the first letter of his first name differently both times, but who am I to question indie genius?
