PORTSMOUTH SINFONIA - 'PLAYS THE POPULAR CLASSICS'
1973 UK PRESSING LP
The Portsmouth Sinfonia was an 'experimental' orchestra founded by a group of students at the Portsmouth School of Art in Portsmouth, England in 1970.
Generally, the album consists of by mostly non-musicians performing familiar classical pieces.
Brian Eno plays clarinet and produced this LP for them in 1973, resulting in a true cult classic.

Housed in a fully laminated cover printed by 'MacNeill Press Ltd.' with its original plain white inner-sleeve.

Immaculate 'as new' and unmarked deep-gloss playing surfaces, both of which lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

EXCELLENT
Strong, clean and glossy with minor storagewear and a small strip of missing paper along the lower rear edge, but no further major faults.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Slight toning to one edge a small seam split to one, but replaceable.
