Description
First, let me say as an introduction, that I have been retired now for a number of years. In short, I would no longer be considered a young man. I have been trying to divest myself of a life-long accumulation of many areas in collectibles including records, CDs, comics, sports cards, movie stills, sports photos, autographs, movies, etc. for quite a while now. I have been able to move a lot of items through the years but time is growing shorter daily and, frankly, I'm getting tired of doing this. That does not mean I am willing to give away my items for pennies on the dollar though. It does me no good to have to continue relisting items over and over for YEARS. I'd like them to be sold while I'm actually still living. Long story short, that is why I stress that I am looking for BIDDERS. Those who "WATCH" are of no real use to me. They almost never buy anything. They only "watch" and ask questions. So … if you are interested in helping me get rid of my treasures please bid. If you just love "watching" and playing you are doing neither of us any service and I would prefer you just move on and not become a "watcher". I am attempting to be as polite as possible about this and still make my point. Payment is expected within 4 days time. If payment is not received within that time period an unpaid item reminder will be sent. This will originate automatically from Ebay. It will not come from me and is not meant as a personal insult. If your are the type who can't handle getting such a reminder there is a very simple solution - make prompt payment. Payment via Paypal takes about 4 MINUTES so I feel that 4 DAYS is certainly sufficient time to get it done. If you fail to read or follow these instructions then it is you who have caused the problem, not me. Even Ebay acknowledges that it is the responsibility of the BUYER to read and follow the instructions of the seller in order to make a successful transaction. I am sorry to have to be so blunt but I am very tired of folks ignoring clear instructions and then blaming me for their mistakes. Respect is a two way street. I try very hard to treat my customers well (as my feedback indicates) but I need to receive a little consideration as well. . Our feedback system is very simple : Since most of you no longer bother to participate in feedback : Leave it and receive it, leave none - receive none.
New pricing system : We are abandoning the "make offer" feature on most items going forward. Between the "lowballer" offers, the fact that most Ebayers will not read instructions or follow them, and eBay's new "automatic renew until sold" feature, it simply isn't worth the hassle. So … now the prices will be lowered to the least I'm willing to accept and offers will no longer be taken (except on select items).
HINT : We are looking for bidders. If you truly have any interest in this item, STOP "WATCHING" and BID. If you "watch" I promise you the price will go higher (trust me on this -- one of you just found out I was serious).
At one time I had over 3,000 albums. The count now is around 25. I have been very successful at selling off what was once a great collection of (primarily) blues and blues-rock LPs from all over the world. This sell-off is now in it's very final stages and it is time to put an end to it and turn the focus to selling my remaining 45s. So ... long story short, I am wanting to sell this small remaining amount of LPs and be done with the listing and re-listing of them so let's see some offers on those remaining either as a group lot or as singles and move them on out of here. What is left is not a great quantity but is still great in quality. There are still some fine LPs available. Don't miss out on them. Once they are gone there will be no more.NEW ADDITION : IN ADDITION TO THE ALBUMS LISTED AND DESCRIBED BELOW I HAVE NOW LOCATED THE 45 RPM (SEE PHOTOS) THAT WAS ORIGINALLY A PART OF THE :LIVE AT MOONTREUX" ALBUM - SO , A GREAT LOT OF MUSIC JUST GOT EVEN BETTER ! - This is a lot of 2 releases by the Canadian blues band Powder Blues. The releases are "Live At Montreux" (1984 Blue Wave Records) and "Red Hot/ True Blue"(1983 RCA Records 2 LP set). The vinyl on all 3 LPs looks brand new. The jackets are a bit worn as follows, "Live At Montreux" has corner wear/dings/creasing and small ink marks next to 4 of the 7 listed song titles (marking their favorites I assume) which do not affect the print. There is also a sticker taped to the front of the jacket which may or may not be removeable without damaging it from Record Center Inc. Centre De Disques 2020 Crescent Montreal (which I assume to be a used record shop) it is classified pop (?) and contains a small blue sticker. "Red Hot /True Blue" has corner dings/wear/creasing plus light ring wear and a small spot on the upper front which apparently once had a price sticker on it. You can see it when you turn the jacket in the light a bit. This LP does contain the original printed insert though it has wear and a small tear. These jackets are certainly still presentable and maybe not as bad as I make them sound but I strive for accuracy so I can avoid complaints later. Overall, other than the sticker issues and the ink marks, the jackets are just showing their age and a solid amount of handling over the years but not abuse. Here is a chance to pick up 3 LPs worth of Tom Lavin and company tearing up the blues their way. These LPs are hard to find in the U.S. and would be much pricier if the jacket condition matched that of the vinyl. After all it is the vinyl that gets played and it is nice. Bid and enjoy !
