Track B recorded live at the Tote Hotel - 17/11/96Comprising the powertrio lineup of Tim Hemensley, TJ Ray and John Nolan, the band were an absolutely unstoppable force, a powerhouse comparable to the finest moments from the MC5, Motörhead and Black Flag. Powder Monkeys were a natural follow up to Australian legendary band BORED! featuring two of their members from the "Take It Out On You" line up. The Powder Monkeys were THE band to witness live in Melbourne in the mid to late nineties.

Based on guttural rock first pioneered by Motorhead, the Powder Monkeys were a "take no prisoners" sonic assault troop, who floored plenty of punters with their relentless pounding live shows. Australian rock band which existed from 1992 to 2003 and fell apart due to death of lead singer Tim Hemensley.

Grading System:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD+: Perfectly acceptable, plays with no skips or jumps, no feelable marks. Hairlines, and other superficial scratches may be evident on the vinyl but sound quality and fidelity still excellent, may have the odd pop and crackle only. Cover will have normal wear, seams and corners in tact, some age deterioration.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
