Description

This is a Pre War Blues 78 by  Texas Alexander, vocal with Eddie Heywood on piano, his name was Alger Alexander. The record was recorded for the  Okeh Record "ELECTRIC" label, # 8542. The 8000 series was Okeh's race series. The songs  "Mama I Heard You Brought It Back" /  "Sabine River Blues"  Let me describe this record, IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS PURCHASED NEW TODAY NOT 80 YEARS AGO,  THE RECORD AND THE LABEL ARE PERFECT. It plays loud and clear with just the slightest of surface noise. I beleive you may never see a copy this nice again. The record was recorded on August 16, 1927. If you collect blues 78s this could be one of the best if not the best in your collection. I will refund buyers purchase price less shipping if the buyer is unhappy for any reason. Check my feedback.
