Premier Panorama de Musique Concrète LP DUC 8
France; Ducretet-Thompson DUC 8. tan labels; "Blue dowel cover"; a fantastic package that takes its style from DADA text collage classics.1 This is the first jacket I haave seen of this type.
Pierre Schaeffer, Pierre Henry and solo pieces: Tam Tam III, Finale of the Concerto of Ambiguities, 5th and 6th movements of Music without a Title, The Veil of Orpheus (can't be complete), and a percussion study Fleeting Percussion; also contains a piece by Philippe Arthuys.1
I cant see any spindle marks to indicate this record has ever been played. The "Dowel" jacket is age yellowed at the edges and there is a 1' split at the top open edge.
