Presenting The Fabulous RONETTES Featuring VERONICA 1st Pressing MONO in SHRINK
With original Woolworth's price sticker from 1964 of $3.98 on sale for $2.77.
MONARCH Premiere pressing 1st U.S. MONO release from Los Angeles as indicated
by the "MR" in circle in dead wax, and The Ronettes spelled correctly on both labels.
Labels yellow and red labels and deep groove pressing.
VINYL in G+ with lots of hairlines and scratches, plays through without skipping on my system, solid MONO wall of sound
overall good with surface noise and clicks and pops here and there.
COVER in original shrink wrap with Wollworth's price sticker. The shrink is torn and frayed in several
places exposing the original cover. The shrink has staining and yellowing, the original cover underneath
hard to see, but appears in really nice shape, all seams and spine is certainly solid from looking at the
inside of the sleeve, when shrink is removed, should be a nice cover!!
Notes:
This version is the Premier pressing variation variation. It can be identified by the Monarch logo stamp and the five-point star etching in the runout grooves and by the yellow and red labels, which unlike other versions, show the correct spelling of the group's name.
The MR in a circle stamp and corresponding delta numbers in the runout indicates that metal parts made by Monarch Records Mfg. Co. were used to manufacture this record.
