For some unknown reason I seem to be running across lower grade copies of this LP every couple of weeks in my record hunting travels these days - This is a FILLER COPY original 1965 monaural U.S. Philles Records LP titled 'Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes', the one and only classic Phil Spector-produced LP featuring Ronnie Spector and the legendary girl group The Ronettes. It is Philles Records catalog number PHLP-4006, yellow labels with red print as shown in the accompanying image. Tracks: Walking In The Rain, Do I Love You?, So Young, (The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up, I Wonder, What'd I Say, Be My Baby, You Baby, Baby I Love You, How Does It Feel?, When I Saw You, Chapel Of Love. The best reason to buy this LP would be if you have a good copy of this record but need to upgrade your beat-up album cover - Cover is actually in pretty respectable low to mid VG+ collectable condition with the only flaws being a 1" square area of the back cover slick which is torn away and missing in the middle of the top edge of the back cover slick, a light stain at the bottom of the back cover, some contact wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. COVER HAS NO SPLITS, WRITING, OR STICKERS and presents pretty well. The previous owner apparently liked this album a lot and has pretty much gotten all of the playing enjoyment that this record had to give - I can only say that the record is in poor condition, very beat up with many surface marks and surface scratches which will affect play. Labels have spindle marks and some wear along the center hole, otherwise look okay as can be seen in the accompanying image. I will start this sought-after collectable LP at my lowest opening bid price of $6.00 due to the poor condition grade of the record and allow the bidders to determine its final value - I personally would not bid this LP up much above the opening bid price, but if you need a good Ronettes LP cover that is up to you. A choice and essential addition to any Phil Spector or roots rock-n-roll record collection!
